We envision a future where the entire water infrastructure can be monitored in real-time using a network of distributed wireless sensors. Dryp is a range of products that enable proactive and holistic decision-making for water infrastructure.
What it does.
Dryp provides a cost-efficient end-to-end solution for distributed monitoring and information generation for both operation, planning and management. It enables water utilities to have a never-seen-before scale of water measurement units to obtain a coherent overview of the urban water cycle.
How it works.
Dryp’s range of water measurement units simplifies installation, maintenance and management. Common for all Dryp’s devices is the plug & play – they will self-configure, self-calibrate and self-diagnose, letting you focus on using Dryp’s integrated analytics in combination with your favorite day-to-day tools.
Dryp provides tailor-made interfaces for operational staff, engineers, planners and management with adaptable data analytics and transparent API’s for integration into your existing tools and solutions.
Dryp is a spin-out of the on-going Grand Solution Project DONUT funded by Innovation Fund Denmark and the project partners. DONUT (Distributed ONline monitoring of the Urban waTer cycle) is a three year project, where the project partners are combining several technological areas in exponential growth; smart energy-efficient sensors, IoT, AI and ICT, in order to develop the technological solutions for cost-efficient water monitoring networks with integrated measurement unit management and data analytics.
Our dream is to provide water utilities with a coherent observation-based overview of their urban water cycle and enable them to take a more proactive and holistic decision-making approach to water management. Dryp is established to propagate the technology to water management worldwide.
An important milestone to achieve this future is to have a dense observation network consisting of a great number of measurement units, always monitoring system states and interactions, and combining these observation data through data analytics for information-based decision-support.
The point of origin for the project development is the vision of the participating water utilities, Aarhus Vand and VandCenter Syd, and water authority, Aarhus Municipality. It is a focus in the DONUT project to map out the requirements of water utilities and authorities. Therefore, we need your inputs. Please sign-up below to help form the solutions.
